It's that time of year again for the Houston Rodeo and Livestock Show at Reliant Stadium. This is the biggest show of it's kind in the U.S. Danny got 4 tickets from his work yesterday and since we have never been, we decided to go last night. The performer of the evening was Trace Adkins. Outside the stadium they had a huge carnival and all kinds of food vendors.
We spent most of the time before the concert down at the carnival. When we finally went up to the stadium, the rodeo portion was almost done. We did get to see a few barrel races.
Here is a picture of the concert. My phone didn't take the greatest pics because of all the spotlights and stuff, plus we were pretty high up.
Another pic of the concert and all the lights. It was a pretty good show! The rodeo goes on for about 2 weeks and every night theres a different performer. Some of the others this year include Sugar Land, Lady Antebellum, Alan Jackson, Kid Rock, Janet Jackson, and Brad Paisley.
A picture of the ferris wheel (or "steering wheel" as Aydan calls it, lol!).

That looks really awesome :) I bet it was a blast :) I get to see Sugarland and Little Big Town March 18th. But there isn't a carnival outside. What a shame.
